| Featuring a turbo design, the 16-inch wall fan provides long-range air circulation, ideal for large facilities such as warehouses and gyms. It ensures even airflow distribution to improve comfort and equipment cooling. We offer scalable solutions that enhance operational efficiency, helping organizations manage air quality and boost productivity with minimal space requirements. | |||||||||
The HICFM FAN-TD16 is a 16-inch turbo floor fan engineered for commercial and industrial facilities that require directed, long-range air circulation. Unlike conventional axial fans that disperse airflow in a wide cone immediately after exiting the grill, this unit pairs three turbo aluminum blades with an extended steel barrel and a spiral grill to generate a high-pressure, concentrated air column. The 1/4 HP motor uses 100% copper windings for sustained thermal performance under continuous operation. Three speed settings allow operators to match output to the cooling or ventilation demand of the space. The fan ships with a U-shaped steel floor stand for freestanding deployment and includes a wall-mount bracket for installations where floor area is limited or overhead circulation is preferred.
The turbo blade geometry and long barrel work in combination to elevate static pressure at the grill, enabling the airstream to maintain velocity over greater distances. At the high setting the fan moves 2800 cubic feet per minute; the medium setting produces 2400 CFM, and the low setting delivers 2100 CFM. Maximum exit air velocity reaches 8.0 meters per second. Acoustic measurements recorded 65 dB at 1 meter, 62 dB at 2 meters, and 60 dB at 3 meters from the unit. The spiral grill maintains a narrow, straight airflow column for the first 3 meters, after which the plume gradually expands to distribute air across a broader area.

The fan housing is fabricated from powder-coated steel in a high-visibility safety-yellow finish, enclosing OSHA-compliant grilles that prevent finger contact with moving blades. The three blades are aluminum, selected for corrosion resistance and low rotational mass. The motor is rated at 120V / 60Hz, drawing 1.35 Amps and 160 Watts at a rotational speed of 1550 RPM. The fan head pivots through a 180-degree vertical arc on the U-shaped stand and is secured at the desired angle by two locking knobs. Non-skid rubber feet are fitted to the base to prevent lateral movement on smooth concrete or epoxy floors. A molded carry handle is integrated into the top of the barrel for manual relocation between work zones. The product carries UL and cUL safety certifications.

This fan is deployed by commercial users and enterprise customers across a range of facility types. In warehouses and distribution centers, the long-throw airstream reduces stagnant-air pockets near racking and helps equalize stratified temperatures between floor and ceiling. Manufacturing and assembly workshops use the directed column to displace welding fumes, solvent vapors, and process heat from operator stations. Gymnasiums, indoor arenas, and convention halls benefit from the sustained velocity to reach occupants across open floor plans without requiring multiple smaller units. Covered patios and outdoor event spaces use the fan for seasonal comfort. Agricultural operations including livestock barns and greenhouse facilities employ the unit for ventilation and humidity control.

The turbo design incorporates shaped aluminum blades and an extended barrel to increase air pressure at the outlet, producing a concentrated column that retains velocity over a longer distance. Standard axial fans typically disperse airflow in a wider pattern and experience greater velocity decay near the unit.
Yes. The package includes a wall bracket in addition to the U-shaped floor stand, allowing the fan to be installed on a wall when floor space is constrained or when overhead air circulation is required.
The steel housing and OSHA-compliant grilles are designed for use in industrial settings with ambient dust. Regular cleaning of the blades and motor housing is recommended to prevent dust accumulation that can reduce airflow efficiency over time.
The fan operates on 120V / 60Hz AC power, drawing 1.35 Amps at 160 Watts. It is equipped with a 6-foot power cord and a standard grounded plug.
